Hello everyone!

I've installed and tinkered with the program a little bit to try it out at first.

It is my understanding that:
The program tracks positions at set intervals via GPS
These positions are uploaded via data connection to a server
These positions are uploaded at the end of a trip if connection is not available during each position

What I want to do:
Track each position at set intervals via GPS
Store all positions offline into the google earth file automatically on the phone

So basically I want to click track, and when I end it will save the file onto the phone and then I can move the file to my PC later to view.
Can this be done? How?

I plan to use it while I go biking to create traces of all the trails near my house. I am using HTC Diamond on WM6.1

Hi asim,

No, you need to upload your data first. Your data is useless until your upload it. You can store all your information offline until you are ready to upload though.

Once the data is on the server, you can generate a KML file and download it to your PDA.

I also use the program when biking. I set it in offline mode and once I get home I upload it to the server.

letsee if i have grasped the cusp of this now:

Start tracking
Track offline using GPS, all positions stored on phone
Connect to PC via USB (and therefore internet)
End Tracking
Upload Positions
Export the trip locally to generate KML file ( I want to keep a copy of each trip)

Is this the right way?

Yes, you can also stop tracking before connecting to the PC.
